- Blake and Katrina
Can it really be the last Thursday in July?
Sages and hyssops in my native garden are teaming with bumble and honeybees, and today I startled a hummingbird at work, well disguised in the blue blooms. This time of the year, we start to feel the inevitable draw down of the summer, yet the harvest is just beginning. We haven't yet learned all the uses for zucchini or wondered why we thought planting 36 tomato plants was the magic number. The wonder and the hope of summer is still alive to savor and enjoy.
Now, onto the menu for tomorrow in Undine park at 3pm.
